Gap night - set specific minimum stay

Have a control in Gap night settings that if turned on, automatically defaults to the minimum defined length of stay selected, in cases where the gap is less than the normal length of stay.
For example, you have a 13 night gap, you can set the minimum length of stay to 7 nights in that 13 night gap.

Yes, i see it would be really useful to avoid generating new and shorter gaps in that peridod of time. In your example of 13 nights, as the price goes down you can be getting a 3 night stay in the middle that generates two new 5 days gaps.

Hey Vu Huynh:
Our Global Min. Stay for this listing is 28 nights.
I have "gap nights" enabled down to 4 nights, but the attached month (Jan 2023) is a good example of this issue I'm trying to solve for:
Right now, we have a booking ending on Jan 2nd and another one starting Jan 27th, leaving us with a 25 night gap.
My goal is to maximize revenue within the 25 night gap. I don't care exactly how that's done, but we typically have a preference for longer term stays for this listing.
I'd love to see a feature that created a dynamic min. stay requirement for this type of gap (i.e., a window of less than our global min. stay requirement but significantly longer than the smallest gaps we'd seek to fill).
For context, I'd be happy with capturing even 15-20 nights of vacancy during this 25 night window, ideally with either (a) one long booking of 15-25 nights, or (b) two smaller bookings of 7-13 nights.
My understanding at the moment is that my only means of doing this right now is by manually creating date-specific rules within Min. Stays. That is helpful but, to be honest, it's rare that I or someone on our team will catch this.
Happy to chat through this further if you want to reach out via email

iair kleiman pollak Thanks for the feedback. Would you be able to provide additional information or examples?

Vu Huynh: Yes...
The idea is to have a minimum and sub minimum stay.
Once there is s gap smaller than the minimum I'm willing to accept a sub minimum stay.
For example I may have a minimum stay of 14 days, and a sub minimum of 3 days.
If January is completely empty only 14 night bookings will be acceptable.
But if I have a guest leaving the 1st and another checking in the 12th. Any booking bigger than 3 days is acceptable by between January 1st and January 12th.
Right now the gap rule ONLY accepts bookings EXACTLY the size of the gap. It will only accept a 3 day booking ONLY from the 9th to the 12th. But it won't accept it from the 1st to the 4th.
